The American Red Snapper are one of the Gulf of Mexico’s most sought after reef fish. They are the biggest species of snapper we have in this area and are also one of the best tasting. Because of their food quality and their unwillingness to stop fighting once hooked, people from all over the country come to the Gulf Coast every year to try their luck at landing a limit of red snapper.
The 12-hour trip takes us to spots where we’ll be fishing at depths of 150’ to 180’. At these depths you will catch quality size red snapper, red grouper, gag grouper, scamp grouper and a variety of other reef fish.
We fish at depts of 240’ or deeper on the 14-hour trip. It is on these deep water trips where you will find a variety of large reef fish that are basically unfished. We travel great distances to get to remote regions of the Gulf of Mexico to ensure that your rods stay bent and your arms are sore for the ride home.
